Unlikely Heroes
Cornerstone has scored eight goals this season and all eight have been scored by different players. With a number of CU players out due to injury, the Golden Eagles have seen some JV players play significant roles in the last few games. Last time out, Caleb Taylor in his first varsity action scored the game tying goal in the 90th minute for Cornerstone before Madonna came back to win it in the second overtime. Roberto Razo is currently the team leader in points with four as he has one goal and two assists this season.

Scouting Rochester
After going 0-4-0 in the fall season, Rochester has responded to go 2-2-0 in the spring with wins in a non-conference game against Concordia and against Olivet College. Freshman goalkeeper Chris Sayles has played 585 of the 720 minutes and net and ranks among the NAIA top 30 in saves per game at 5.57. Offesnively, it is senior defender Evan Mitchell who has scored a third of the teams goals with five in just 11 shots for a ridiculous 35.7 goal to shot percentage. Rochester joined the WHAC back in 2017-18 and has never found their footing finishing in the bottom two each season. They also sit as one of three teams without a conference win this season at 0-5-0 in the WHAC.
