GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Head Coach Kelsey Kooistra and the Golden Eagle softball program are excited to have a talented player join the team as one of the newest members of the class of 2022-23 in Dylan Holmes. Holmes comes to Cornerstone from Millington, Michigan, where she played third base, shortstop, and catcher for Millington Community High School. Holmes won Saginaw Athlete of the Week, helped the Cardinals win the state title in 2019, and was a part of Millington's regional championship wins three years in a row.
 
Dylan is the daughter of Heath and Cherri Holmes, and she plans to major in Nursing during her time at Cornerstone University.
 
Why Cornerstone?
"I talked to one of the college coaches at my softball tournament and after that conversation I had to get out and see it for myself. The aspect of the family atmosphere is what really brought me in from being from a small town and how everyone had some faith in God."
