The Golden Eagles had two matches last week and finished the week 1-1. Cornerstone started off their week on the road against Rochester Christian.
Tyler Corstange scored twice for the Golden Eagles in the match,
Steven Stidham and
Isaac Wood each scored their first goals of the season to help secure a 4-1 win for the Golden Eagles. Cornerstone then took on #23 rank University of Northwestern Ohio who came into the match on a four-game win streak and undefeated in conference play. The Racers found the back of the goal three times in the first half but were held scoreless in the second. Unfortunately for CU they couldn't get the offense rolling and fell to UNOH 3-0.
Scouting Siena Heights
Siena Heights comes into the matchup against the Golden Eagles with an overall record of 3-5-3 (2-2-1) on the year, sitting in 6th place in the conference just ahead of Cleary.
