Softball falls to #12 Indiana Wesleyan and Mount Vernon Nazarene on day three of play at the Space Coast Games

MELBOURNE, Fla. – Softball closed out their third consecutive double-header of the week against #12 Indiana Wesleyan and Mount Vernon Nazarene. Taylor Zwagerman highlighted the contest with a perfect 3-3 at the plate to tally half of the Golden Eagles hits. In the second game of the day Cornerstone struggled from the very beginning as the first pitch of the day resulted in a hit. The Golden Eagles played catch up from that point forward as they were defeated 9-3 against Mount Vernon Nazarene. The ladies record now sits at 7-3 on the season as they get a day of rest before returning to action on March 6th against Waldorf and Bethel in another double-header.
