Scouting Siena Heights
After starting the season ranked No. 22 in the NAIA DII Top 25 poll, Siena Heights has lived up to expectations with a 14-11, 7-8 WHAC record. 14-year head coach Sue Syljebeck has been looking for the right starting lineup all season, as nine different Saints have earned at least one start this year. SHU has been dominant defensively holding opponents to just 63.2 points per game, but have struggled themselves on the offensive end scoring just 63.9 points per game. Siena Heights has just one player averaging double figures in scoring, as Demi Russel scores 10.5 PPG. Alyssa Larson has been a force on the boards totaling 197 rebounds this season, 84 of those coming on the offensive glass.

Scouting Northwestern Ohio
A young UNOH roster that has seven freshmen has struggled to find success this season, posting a 7-16, 3-11 WHAC record. The Racers sit in ninth in the WHAC standings, as they have struggled to score this season averaging 63.3 PPG. Emily Patton has been a standout freshman for UNOH along with senior Kierra Billingsley, as they each average 14+ points per game and 5+ rebounds a game. As a team, the Racers have had excellent perimeter defense, holding opponents to just a 26.6% mark from behind the arc to rank fifth in NAIA Division II.

History vs. the Saints
Cornerstone has struggled against Siena Heights under head coach Katie Mattera, posting just a 4-9 record in her six seasons at the helm. Mattera has won three of those four games at home, while recording her first ever win in Adrian earlier this season.

History vs. the Racers
Cornerstone has posted a 7-5 record against Northwestern Ohio under head coach Katie Mattera. CU has been streaky vs. the Racers, winning five in a row followed by losing three of the last four. The Golden Eagles look to get their first season sweep of UNOH since the 2014-15 season with a win on the road this Saturday.

700 on the Horizon
Cornerstone is just three wins away from win number 700 in program history. 2017-18 serves as the 46th season of CU women's basketball and the program has posted a 697-498 overall record. Inside Mol Arena, Cornerstone has been dominant tallying a 196-52 inside Mol Arena, putting them just four wins away from 200 in program history. Cornerstone has three regular season home games, along with a chance to host at least one WHAC Tournament game remaining in the 2017-18 season.

Muller's Career Day
Freshman forward Sydney Muller continued to shine for the Golden Eagles last week, posting her first career double-double vs. Madonna with 13 points and 11 rebounds. Muller was one of four Cornerstone players to score in double figures in the win, and recorded double figure rebounds for the first time in her career. Muller sits third on the team in points per game, while sitting second in both assists and rebounds per game.

15 of 20
Cornerstone has continued to improve this season, winning 15 of their last 20 games after starting 0-4 on the year. CU earned an eight-game winning streak in that stretch, their longest winning streak since the 2007-08 season. Of the nine blemishes on the Golden Eagles record this season, four have come against NAIA DII Top 25/RV opponents, and one has come against an NCAA Division II opponent in Davenport University. CU currently sits in third place in the conference standings.

Otten Ties Career High
Senior Lizzy Otten recorded eight assists for the third time this season, tying her career high yet again. Otten leads the Golden Eagles with 99 assists on the year, averaging 4.1 per game.

Sheridan Nears 8th
Junior Jesse Sheridan continues her tear through the Golden Eagles all-time scoring list, as she sits in ninth and is only 93 points away from taking sole possession of eighth. Sheridan has 1400 career points to her name, as she averages a team best 18.7 points per game this season.
