History vs. Opponents
Cornerstone has been very streaky in matchups against the Racers over the years, as they have lost the last three after winning the previous five. Northwestern Ohio swept the Golden Eagles in the season series last year, defeating CU 82-66 in Lima and 60-45 at Mol Arena. Against Concordia, CU has won eight of the last nine matchups. The Cardinals and Golden Eagles met in the WHAC opener earlier this year, and CU won an overtime thriller 99-91 inside Mol Arena.

Scouting UNOH
The Racers have had a tough go of things in 2017-18, going 7-11, 3-6 WHAC so far this season under third year head coach Mike Armbruster. The young Racer team, that has seven freshman, has really struggled at home going just 1-7 in their home gym, but have been surprisingly good on the road, going 5-3 in true road games. UNOH prides themselves on their perimeter defense, as they hold opponents to an NAIA second best 25.6% behind the arc. Individually, senior Kierra Billingsley leads UNOH in scoring at 14.4 PPG and 6.6 RPG. Freshman Emily Patton has also been a standout player for the Racers, averaging 14.2 PPG and 2.4 APG.

Scouting Concordia
The Cardinals have continued to be solid this season, posting a 12-6, 6-4 WHAC record. CUAA relies heavily on their three point shooting, as they average just over eight made threes a game, and have 153 total made on the year. Senior Kari Borowiak has been one of the best players in the conference, as she leads the WHAC in scoring so far this year at 20.8 points per game and assists at 5.6 per game. Concordia is also one of the best interior defending teams in the conference, as they rank eighth in the NAIA with 73 total blocks. The 6-2 freshman Tris'tyn Williams has come off the bench to record 28 of those blocks.

Vredevoogd Reaches 1,000
Senior Cass Vredevoogd scored a crucial layup in the win over UM-Dearborn to become the 25th Golden Eagle in program history to tally 1,000 career points. Vredevoogd scored a season second best 18 points on Wednesday, and then followed it up with her second double-double of the year with 11 points and 10 rebounds on Saturday. With 11 regular season games remaining, Vredevoogd has 1,017 career points, 497 of those coming in her first two seasons at Dordt College in Iowa.

Sheridan Nears Ninth
Junior Jesse Sheridan continues her trend up the Golden Eagles all-time scoring list, as she is now just 14 points away from moving into possession of ninth place. Earlier this year Sheridan passed Julie Kosten's (1193-97) 1,268 points to earn possession of 10th place, and she now strives to surpass Amy Kraft's (1985-90) 1,330 career points. Sheridan is averaging a career best 19.3 PPG this season and 45.0 field goal percentage.

Free Throw Shooting
The Golden Eagles have been lights out from the free throw line lately, shooting 88.5% in their last two games. In the win vs. UM-Dearborn, CU went 27-28 from the line, for a season best 96.4% performance. On the season, Cornerstone is shooting 75.3% as a team. The Golden Eagle single season record for team free throw percentage is 73.9%, which was completed in the 2006-07 season.

Winning Streak
The Golden Eagles have not tallied a regular season loss since December 9, 2017, recording their longest winning streak since the 2014-15 season when they also won six straight. Six straight also ties their longest streak under head coach Katie Mattera in her six years at CU.
